1. SCOPE
This Standard defines the agreements that have been approved by the Worldwide Fastener Technical Committee for all new releases. These agreements support best fastener practices and complexity reduction efforts. Carry-over fasteners should be reviewed in line with these policies and strategies. Proprietary features other than those to which a Worldwide Fastener Standard exists or those approved by the Worldwide Fastener Technical Committee are prohibited and shall not be specified.
