This standard covers the dimensions, material and heat treatment, and performance of heavy-duty spring band hoseclamps in a range of nominal diameters between 13 mm and 61 mm inclusive, for application within a temperature range from -40 ºC to +180 ºC.

Some of the hose clamps in this standard are pre-opened. The pre-opened feature is integral to the clamp, not a separate clip that is removed during installation.

NOTE: The clipped pre-opened design has been made obsolete and is not for new design. Information for this design has been moved to WK 902A (Appendix A).
