1. SCOPE
The material defined by this specification is a tin based alloy, developed to comply with the revised OSHA lead standards, virtually eliminating both the lead and arsenic content of previous body solders. The tin base solder has a shiny, bright appearance. It is stiffer and more light weight than previous solders.
