1. SCOPE
The material defined by this specification is a dry film lubricant, which consists of PTFE in water based polyurethane binder. The lubricant was designed for applications where EPA or OSHA regulations restrict emissions of volatile organic compounds. The material provides good wear, low coefficient of friction, solvent resistance, and resistance to chalking in U. V. exposure. After dip or spray application, the material can be air dried or force dried with heat.
