The materials defined by these specifications are thermoplastic elastomers of nominal instantaneous Durometer A hardnesses 66 and 76 having good long term resistance to heat at temperatures up to 125 °C. Being thermoplastic, the material will soften and creep at temperatures exceeding 165 °C. These materials provide low level fade resistance and have improved flow characteristics during injection molding.
