The material defined by this specification is an ethylene/vinyl acetate rubber with a nominal hardness of 50 IRHD. It is capable of continuous operation at temperatures up to 130 °C and withstand peak temperatures up to 150 °C. The material is also capable of operating in engine oils up to 150 °C.
