The material defined by this specification is a chlorosulphonated polyethylene rubber tube with good resistance to ozone, vacuum collapse and tearing. It is capable of continuous operation at temperatures up to 110 °C and withstanding peak temperatures up to 130 °C. The material remains serviceable at -30 °C and is moderately resistant to hot oil but has poor resistance to highly aromatic and oxygenated fuels.
