1. SCOPE
The materials defined by these specifications are of the cold rolled Dual Phase type, which includes steel grades with minimum tensile strengths in the range of 450 to 600 MPa (see para 3.5.1). Appropriate steel making practices are used to generate (primarily) martensite as a dispersed second phase in a ferrite matrix. Specification WSS-M1P94-A shall be used where precoating by the steel supplier is required.
