These specifications are commonised for use by Ford Motor Company, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo. The materials defined by this specification are finished, full grain or corrected grain, selection ‘A' steer and heifer hides for Ford of Europe/Jaguar/Land Rover. Volvo hide selection according to purchasing specification. The hides shall have been tanned to retain the natural odour of the leather and softened to provide maximum seating comfort without sacrificing the leather's remaining physical properties.
