1. SCOPE
The materials defined by these specifications are fine denier, bulked continuous filament (BCF) nylon, cut pile carpets, tufted into a synthetic primary foundation. WSS-M3H115-A is coated with a polyethylene backcoating and a secondary backing. WSS-M3H115-A2 is coated with a latex backcoating. WSS-M3H115-A3 is precoated. The precoated carpet is then laminated to a barrier material for improved fit and acoustical properties. WSS-M3H115-A4 is coated with a polyethylene backcoating.
