This standard defines conditions of supply and performance requirements for painted (including soft painted, powder coated and lacquered) components used for automotive interior assemblies. It applies to both polymeric and metallic substrates. The type and grade of substrate material(s) used in the manufacture of the component will be specified on the relevant engineering drawing.
