The physical layer and the data link layer with 5 Baud initialization of the interface is defined in this document. The content of this part of the test specification is based on IS0 9141, part 1. However, restrictions and supplements are defined to this standard to improve transmission and operation safety for the electronic systems connected to the serial data line. The structure and the contents of the transmitted data is defined in other parts of this test specification.
