1 Scope and Application Their purpose is to regulate the air-outlet created by the car heating and ventilation system in order to prevent pressure peaks caused by door closing and airbag ignition. This test specification stipulates the requirements regarding the tightness and the opening pressure of the bar-shaped flaps so that no dust or water can penetrate the vehicle from the outside, and the flaps have a defined opening pressure.
