Scope The object of this test method is to determine the resistance of elastomers to ageing, by the measurement of properties of the elastomer before and after accelerated ageing. Whilst the use of an accelerated ageing test allows rrertain conclusions to be made, it should be noted that it will not necessarily agree with the results of natural ageing.
