Scope This¿test method shall be used to determine the abrasion resistance of automotive components whitih because of shape, size, configuration etc. cannot be tested by conventional means. The test method is particularly applicable to plastic parts to which decorative/functional finishes (print, metallising, paint, embossing, foiling etc.).have been applied, where an indication of the wear characteristics of such finishes is required.
