i. Scope
This test method shall be used to determine the relative proportions of animal hair (e.g. wool) in textile fabrics,felts, cotton wools, fleeces etc. This test method shall also be used to determine the relative proportion: of.rubber in rubberised upholstery materials, consisting entirely of rubber and animal hair. Note: If any vegetable fibres are present in the material, then test method GME 60 321 applies.
