Purpose.
This Test Procedure defines the test conditions and requirements for measuring engine hood vibrations for all passenger cars.
Before using this test procedure, a subjective evaluation of the hood vibration according to GMN7000 shall be performed.
This test procedure is used to verify an improvement to or the elimination of engine hood vibrations after a subjective evaluation according to GMN7000 has produced an NOK situation. For this the NOK condition and the OK condition (following appropriate modifications in the on-going development) are measured and recorded.
