The connections are used in the temperature range from (-40...+180) ºC for the below applications:

• Coolant circuit and servo system to an overpressure of 400 kPa.

• Fuel system to an overpressure of 700 kPa (SBC d_n 15/19 only).

• Air intake system to a vacuum of 10 kPa.

• Charge air system to an overpressure of 300 kPa.

For pressures > 400 kPa (e.g., fuel system) changes of material composition and material gage are required for SBCs > d_n 19.

Note: Tightness can only be assured, if the sockets and hoses comply with the conditions of this specification.
