Applicability.
Code A: Bearing material for cylindrical and plain bearings for application of fuels, oils etc., when high wear friction is required. The bearings can be used for low coefficients of friction, for high temperature resistance from (-40 to +200) °C, for high resistance of chemicals and for low moisture absorption.
Not to use for underwater application and when a temperature and media resistant bearing for mainly static applications is sought.
Code B: Maintenance free bearing with good heat stability, low moisture absorption, extremely dimension stable in varying ambient conditions, recommended for rotary movements with medium to high loads.
