Purpose. This Test Procedure describes the seat tests concerning squeaks and rattle (S&R) noises.
Its purpose is the systematic evaluation of seats and, ultimately, the supply of seats which conform to specifications regarding S&R noises.
Procedures and general requirements are specified in the Test Procedure, which enables the seat supplier to perform effective S&R testing.
