1 Scope The test is used to evaluate the frictional properties (static coefficient of friction and kinetic coefficient of friction) of materials of body interior equipment (e.g. films, artificial leathers or others) against themselves (Method A), against a defined friction body (Method B) or, in elastomer profiles, against a friction partner to be defined on the drawing concerned (Method C) in specified conditions.
