Purpose
The purpose of this test procedure is the determination of the degree of depression of the spare wheel / tool compartment cover caused by a static or dynamic force.
Foreword
Due to the occurrence of vertical forces on the spare wheel / tool compartment cover and the associated set, it is useful to perform tests on the cover and to determine limiting values. Thus, the required features such as: fitting, function, position and fastening can be ensured.
Applicability
This specification applies to covers which are constructed from e.g.:
• sheet metal and
• cover plate (e.g. TM 224000)
