Material Description. This standard specifies the non-electrolytically applied metal flake coating for improvement in corrosion resistance on automobile parts used by GM Korea Company (hereinafter referred to as the "GM Korea"). In case of coating for small parts (pitch size smaller than or equal to M5, for example. small +/- recessed fastener, hexagonal / square / triangular headed fastener, and cap nut etc.), it follows through an agreement with the person concerned.
Remarks: This coating system must be free of hexavalent chromium, with no hexavalent chromium in final product. ISO 3613 or GMW 3034 will be used as a reference test.
