Material Description.

Material Types.

Group 1. Glass fiber reinforced raw materials which have excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability and use low viscosity PA6 as the base. Ex) Tailgate Handle.

Group 2. Glass fiber reinforced raw materials which have excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability and use mid viscosity PA6 as the base. Ex) Door Lock Switch, Nut Cap.

Group 3. Glass fiber reinforced raw materials which have excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability and use impact resistance PA6 as the base. Ex) Door Check Body.

Group 4. Glass fiber reinforced raw materials which have excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability and use ultra-low viscosity PA6 as the base.

Symbols. Material indication: greater than PA6-GF30 less than. Detailed contents shall conform to the indication method of synthetic resin materials for vehicles. (Spec. No: GMW3116).

Typical Applications. This specification defines general requirements for raw materials of 30% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6 applied to interior or exterior parts of a vehicle. Details for typical applications see paragraph 1.1.1.
