Material Description.

Material Types.

Type 1. Fiberglass reinforced material having good thermal stability and high rigidity. Ex) Cam cover, Pedal.

Type 2. Fiberglass reinforced material having good thermal stability, high rigidity and, especially, good coolant resistance. Ex) Air intake manifold.

Symbols. Material indication: > PA66-GF35<. Detailed contents shall conform to the indication method of synthetic resin materials for vehicles. (Spec. No: GMW3116).

Typical Applications. This specification defines general requirements for raw materials of 35% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 applied to interior, exterior or engine parts of a vehicle. Details for typical applications see paragraph 1.1.1.
