Purpose. This specification specifies the requirements of basic property for patterns and qualities of the textile fiber fleece used for sound absorber in automobiles.
Material Description. One of the following two types shall be used.
Type A. Compression - molded textile fiber fleece mixed with resin that is used as bolster around the engine room.
Type B. Type A material with crepe paper on fleece as backing.
Typical Applications. This specification applies to the textile fiber fleece used for sound absorber in automobiles.
