This specification shall be applied to refrigerant hose & coupling for HFC 134a used in all passenger cars by GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology Company(hereinafter referred to as the "GMDAT").
PURPOSE
This specification covers Product Qualification Tests and Quality Assurance Tests for Hose and Couplings intended for use with liquid and gaseous refrigerant HFC134a and PAG Refrigeration lubricant in automotive air conditioning system applications.
The requirements of this specification shall consist of properly qualified hoses and couplings terminated at each end with appropriate fittings to interface with automotive air conditioning components.
