Material Description. This standard aims at specifying physical properties and test methods of the paint protective Film & Non-Woven Fabric (hereinafter referred to as the "Paint Protective System") to protect the coating.

Paint Protective Film. PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) is coated to the polyolefin type Film.

Paint Protective Non-Woven Fabric. Double sided adhesive tapes are attached on the polyolefin type Non-Woven Fabric.

Typical Applications. This standard applies to the Paint Protective System to protect coating of the finished vehicle body, which is attached to horizontal portions of the coated vehicle body for a certain period (up to 6 months in the outdoor vehicle storage area until vehicle deliver to the consumer)
