Material Description. This specification specifies the general requirements of low expansion and high strength antiflutter sealer used for body line.

Material Types. Not applicable

General Descriptions.

Heat-curing type, it provides perfect adhesion when baking conditions in the painting line are met.

As solvent-free type, it is free from danger of ignition.

Materials without electrical conductivity (ED-Off type) shall be used.

Materials should be good adhesion against general and galvanized steel treated with rust preventative oil. The Materials should not cause rust on the sealer-spread surface.

Materials should be easily treated, and they shall not give out hazardous odor and toxic fumes which may do damage to human bodies in case of sealer-spreading work and drying work.

Typical Applications. This specification applies to low expansion and high strength antiflutter sealer used for plate reinforcement, adhesion and caulk between inner panel and outer panel at hood, trunk lid and door of automobile.

Remarks. The classification of volume expansion and strength of antiflutter sealer is in accordance with GMW14874.
