This standard applies only to the rear axle assembly of the U100 car. Components subject to verification of durability through this test are confined to the rear axle, spindle, rear spring, insulation rind, damper and rear axle bush.
PURPOSE
This standard aims at specifying the procedures of verifying durability of the torsion beam rear axle assembly for the longitudinal load input which passes through the tire centerline and the lateral load input at the tire ground contact area among other loads applied from the axle in driving and durability of each component for the vertical load input to each wheel.
