Purpose. The purpose of this standard is to determine the durability of the product population and improve the efficiency and reliability of the test work by specifying the durability test procedure for steering column assembly.
Applicability. This standard applies to the durability test for steering column assembly for automobiles (hereinafter referred to as the "test sample").
