Purpose. This standard aims at regulating jacket ASM-steering column performance test procedure to improve the efficiency and the credibility of test work.
Applicability. This standard shall apply to the performance test for steering column jacket (hereafter called "sample") for automobile. If the special requirements are specified on the drawing, carry out test to the drawing.
