Purpose. The purpose of the test is to improve the efficiency and trust of the test by stimulating the dry running properties of veering bush and segment consisting of a rack and pinion steering gear.
Applicability. The criterion only applies to the test on the bearing bush of steering gear for vehicles and on segment.
