Purpose. This standard aims at specifying the method of measuring the static load applied to the engine mount using the engine buck or test set-up prior to prototype vehicle build, thus using the acquired data for initial analysis and design of the engine mount system.

Applicability. This standard applies to acquisition of the data used as the initial design load at engine mount system development before the prototype vehicle comes out that reflects the design intention. After proto vehicle build, the static load acting on the engine mount in the vehicle condition shall be measured and checked again at RLDA measurement according to EDS-T-0002 paragraph 4 (12) and used for future engine mount design and system tuning.
