PURPOSE
Following test-spec. determines the requirements, the test conditions and test method for function-, materialand safety tests of glazing of the vehicle and vehicle parts of glass or glasslike materials.
In exceptional cases the window pane of vehicle glazing must fulfill additional or, instead of the here-stated, other requirements of countries in which they are applied.
Further requirements for panes or other vehicle parts of glass are determined in the following stated additional parts to these technical delivery conditions:
Part 2 : Heatable window panes
Part 3 : Panes with antenna
Part 4 : Panes with supporting plates for inside mirror
Part 5 : Panes with ornamental print
Part 6 : Glass roof
