This standard applies to sun visors (hereinafter ‘test piece') of passenger vehicles. Applicable test pieces shall be tested in accordance with this standard, test results submitted for approval and submitted to the QA Department prior to supplying parts for manufacture. Unspecified items shall be determined in consultation with related departments and questions on this standard shall be referred to the Testing Department.
PURPOSE
This standard aims at enhancing the efficiency and reliability of tests by specifying the procedures of performance and durability tests of sun visors.
