Release sample, to which this spec. applies, must be tested according to this specification and be permitted by GMDAT Technical Center before a delivery can result. At considered deviation from this spec. or from the samples released up to now, the maker is responsible to inform spontaneously the receiver with documentation about all provided revisions. On request test samples in the changed model are to be displayed for renewed sampling and permission by GMDAT Technical Center, before the deviation can be applied in the delivery.

Following test specification determines the requirements, test conditions and test methods for the function, material, loading and safety test of seat and back heating mat, for front and rear seat. Additionally to these tests the heating mats must fulfill the demands of lands, in which they are used.
