This standard applies to the signal horns(impact horns) and electric horns (fanfare) for auto vehicles manufactured by GMDAT.
PURPOSE
This test specification determines the requirements, the test conditions and test methods for the electric and physical function and fatigue test of signal horns(impact horns) and electric horns (fanfare). For horns and fanfare used in connection with theft warning devices special conditions are valid at several points. The points are marked following with the marking TWD(Theft Warming Device).
