PURPOSE
Following test specification determines the requirements, test conditions and test methods for the function, material and fatigue tests of components of check-control-unit. The check-control-unit consists of different sensors and the control unit with display module. Deviating from these tests, all sensors described in this specification and the control unit (in following mentioned also as parts) must fulfill the requirements of country in which they are used. The requirements for components of check-control-unit are determined in following listed additional parts to these technical delivery conditions. It is determined in compulsory book, which parts of this specification is to be applied. Additional functional descriptions are determined also in compulsory book. The respective current compulsory book is enclosed in appendix I.
Part 2: Electronic Control Unit(ECU)
The ECU is to be so constructed that the functional requirements of compulsory book is fulfilled. Signals for display module is ready at outputs of ECU in depends, dependent on sensor signals at input.
Part 3: Display module
The display module converts output signals of ECU to an information cleary comprehensible for the driver.
Part 4: Lamp control unit
The lamp control unit controls the circuit of respectively determined vehicle lamps.
If an error or a breaking in light circuit is detected, the sensor gives an electric signal to ECU.
Part 5: oil-level sensor
The oil-level sensor controls the engine oil level and gives an electric signal to ECU when the oil-level falls below the specified minimum level.
Part 6: sensor for brake fluid level
The brake fluid level sensor controls the brake fluid level and gives an electric signal to ECU when the level falls below the specified minimum level.
Part 7: sensor for brake lining wear
The brake lining wear sensor controls the wearing of brake linings. If they have been worn too strongly, the sensor gives an electric signal to ECU.
Part 8: sensor for washing water level
The washing water level sensor controls the washing water level and gives an electric signal to ECU when the water level falls below the specified minimum level.
Part 9: sensor for cooling water level The cooling water level sensor controls the cooling water level and gives an electric signal to ECU when the water level falls below the specified minimum level.
