Purpose. This specification defines the minimum performance requirements for automobile carpeting materials.
Applicability. Such materials generally consist of a pile(looped or cut) of natural and/or synthetic fibers securely woven or needled into natural and/or synthetic woven or non woven primary backing medium, or of consolidated/needled textile type fibers.
