PURPOSE
The purpose of this standard is to determine the deflection and creep characteristics of automotive elastomeric components under the constant force at a normal temperature of 23°C±5K, and the permanent set characteristics at both temperature and accelerated temperature. The test shall be performed under the serviceability condition. The test sample shall be completely vulcanized so as to obtain the constant test results.
