This standard shall normally apply to the test pieces of automotive parts whose specific gravity is at least 1.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this standard is to determine the volume and the density of an elastomeric test piece. The volume will be determined by measuring the weight of the test piece in air, and apparent weight in a liquid.
