Purpose. The purpose of this standard is to determine the amount of sag (permanent deformation) of a test piece remaining after textile applied to automobile has been subjected to specified force for specified period relieved and allowed to recover for a specific period.

Applicability. This standard is used to determine the sag resistance of textile trims materials or knitted fabrics used in automobile.
