This test method shall be used to determine the color fastness to daylight of textiles and coated fabrics, by outdoor exposure to sunlight under standardized conditions. Additional tests (e.g. tensile strength, elongation etc.) other than color fastness may be required after exposure. Such requirements will be indicated on relevant engineering drawings, material specifications etc.
