This standard is applied to evaluate the brittleness of painted flexible plastics. (Flexible plastics are defined as those plastic materials with a flexural modulus 1,000 MPa or less.)
PURPOSE
This standard specified the test method to evaluate the amount of cracking or breaking that takes place when a painted plastic material is flexed around a designated mandrel at a designated temperature.
