1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the basic physical, chemical and performance requirements of an alipharic hydrocarbon cleaning solvent used to remove various sealers, deadeners and adhesives from exterior body surfaces. The material must have no permanent adverse effect on the body paint, rubber or plastic parts, and adhesively bonded glass and ornamentation. The material is intended to be used prior to water leak testing or body washing and shall contain sufficient emulsifying agent to wash and rinse off cleanly after water wash.
