1 Scope
This specification details the requirements of oil for-mulations that must be compatible with current pro-duction processes and paint systems used to protect sheet metal surfaces against corrosion and stains. Steel mills and processors must apply these materi-als at the following levels: 1.3 g/m 2 ¿ 2.1 g/m 2 This should be calculated by a minimum of 5 mea-surements equally spaced across the width of the sheet. Any deviations from this requirement must be spelled out on the Metal Parts Specification (MPS) sheet or the purchase order.
