This specification details the requirements of a non-drying, non-bleeding, and non-corrosive thumb grade sealer. 

Material Description. The material must be a smooth and homogeneous mixture free of air, lumps, unmixed particles and foreign material. 

The material must adhere to all production Electrocoat (E-Coats) and topcoats. It must have good durability and not accelerate the rusting of steel over which it is applied.

Applicability. It is intended to seal interior and exterior body joints against water, dust, and air intrusion. Typical application of this sealer is manual (by hand) and used to repair any leaks in the body that were not sealed using paint shop sealers. This thumb grade sealer is designed to be applied in general assembly over ecoated and top-coated metal.
