1 Scope

This standard describes the material and perfor-mance requirements of a one component, room temperature vulcanizing (RTV), silicone rubber formed-in-place gasket (fipg). This oxime cure, ad-hesive/ sealant is suitable for oil and coolant systems. 1.1 Material Description. This material must be capable of being dispensed with current production equipment. It shall be compatible with production systems.
