1 SCOPE.

This specification covers the requirements for solvent-borne enamels applied to interior automobile bodies and component parts in various approved production colors. This specification is for higher baking temperature enamels than those paints which are included in the 9984029 specification and are expected to provide greater durability. 1.1 These enamels are intended for use over all properly prepared interior metal substrates, except horizontal surfaces on the dashboard and package shelf. Both high and low VOC materials are included in this specification.
